"My ANGEL"

Все работы которые я начала писать в Кейптауне, были написаны от души и полны неиссякаемого вдохновения. Но я думала, что должна создать серию новых работ, которые будут отличаться от всего, что делают художники Южной Африки. Я должна быть самой собой, а не только отражать прекрасный мир в котором очутилась. Мир, в котором люди улыбаются, и свет их улыбок освящает мир, как африканское солнце. В мире сложилось ложное впечатление о диких нравах африканцев, о их грубости и агрессивности, Но я увидела людей, живущих в радости и любви, счастливые семьи, несмотря на бедность и веселых нарядно одетых детей, с лучезарными улыбками на шоколадных личиках. По-видимому печаль, по поводу разницы в цвете кожи, пришла из времен рабовладельческого строя, когда тысячи африканцев вывозили в другие страны.  Конечно же обидно, когда  одни люди, должны работать на других, без всяких прав. Это отвратительно. Мне в голову пришла идея попробовать работая с африканскими моделями и попробовать написать их с белой кожей. И как Вы думаете что произошло? У меня стали появляться АНГЕЛЫ! All the works that I began to paint in Cape Town, was done from the heart and full of inexhaustible inspiration. But I thought I should create a series of new works that will be different from anything that makes artists in South Africa. I have to be myself, and not merely reflect the wonderful world in which found itself. 
A world where people smile, and their smiles light sanctifies the world as the African sun. In a world of false impression about the wild customs of Africans, about their rudeness and aggressiveness, but I saw people living in joy and love, happiest families, despite the poverty, cheerful well-dressed children, with a radiant smile on chocolate face. Apparently sadness about the difference in skin color, come from the time of the slave system, when thousands of Africans were exported to other countries. Of course, a shame when some people have to work for others, without any rights. It's disgusting.
 I came up with the idea to try paint  African models and try to paint them pure white skin. And how do you think that happened? It began to appear ANGELS!
